Carina Coen is originally from Galway, Ireland, a country well known for folklore and magical stories of Leprechauns. Carina has written a new twist on ‘Faerie-Tales’, in an unusual and imaginative mix of fantasy-story-telling and Environmental and Educational messages for the reader. She challenges the current economic and human way of thinking, to weave a global miracle to shift humanity into peace and the healing of the Earth.
Celia Gregory is dedicated to bringing creativity and positivity into Ocean conservation. She founded the Marine Foundation, an eco-art organisation which pioneered the International Living Sculptures in the Sea program, creating underwater art that restores coral reefs and supports the local communities who depend on them. Whilst working with ResponSEAble, a European Commission’s Horizon 2020 program of 15 partners from around the European Union she created the Zaza the Mermaid education program, an the ocean literacy tool that engages children in storytelling and art whereby learning about her animal friends in the sea and the threats they face. Zaza the mermaid is now a series of illustrated storybooks. Celia’s style and inspiration is a perfect match for Sylvie’s Wish.
